This lacy stole was spun and knitted in a week, when I needed an "emergency" wrap to wear to a formal wedding. It is made in a single-ply yarn spun of white Falkland fleece. It weighs two ounces, and when blocked, measures about 32 inches by 46 inches. The stole is based on the "Fine Lace Stole" in Gladys Amedro's Shetland Lace (The Shetland Times Ltd, Lerwick, Scotland, 1993)
