Le Rouge et Le Noir (The Red and the Black) is a misses medium/large tunic-style long pullover made from dyed merino wool. It features a lattice of lace and solid squares, and a squared neckline. It weighs about 19 ounces, and used about 1,781 yards of handspun yarn. Although I knitted R&N around 1999 or so, I never assembled and blocked it until February 2002.
