This is my favorite doggie fashion piece so far.  Hand-space-dyed, Navajo-plied (three-ply) yarn flowing from deep royal blue to turquoise makes this little jacket a one-of-a-kind item.  Not least because there is no more of the yarn left!  Felting made it nearly 1/4-inch thick, and a great shield against the weather.

The antique buttons are made from actual Indian Head nickels and have a brass ring soldered to the back.

The jacket body measures about eleven inches (11”) across, excluding the straps, and eight and a quarter inches (8 1/4”) from the neck to the tail-end.  When buttoned, the circumference is about 16 inches (16”).
