Celebrating spring 2003, the round pillow (above and right) features a cheerful rainbow of New Zealand Romney wool dyed by Elspeth Wilkinson at Chilko Fiber in Ashburton, NZ, with Lambspun of Colorado silk on the reverse. The antique buttons are mother-of-pearl. The navy and white pillow (below and lower right), also reversible, is done in superwash Merino and is an adaptation of classic Japanese ikat weaving called "Kasuri". |
