Pet Beds |

In February of 2006, Forest House Fiberworks introduced the first of a continuing line of hand-spun, hand-knit sweaters, coats, toys, beds and blankets for discriminating dogs (and sometimes cats) everywhere. Some pieces even have matching accessories for that special person in a pet’s life. The inspiration for the Pet Beds came from Cat Bordhi's A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting (Passing Paws Press, Friday Harbor, WA,2005). I have played with sizes, but the magical moebius top band is purely Cat's. The extra large bed occupied by 14-lb. orange Harley, is his favorite sleeping spot ever. Fluffy gray Cozette tested the smaller burgundy bed, but it was given to daughter Christie's fiance, Rob, for his two cats, Koa and Mufasa, to fight over. |
