Lace Curtains
							These curtains are handspun linen using part of the "La Traviata" stole pattern from the Second Book of Lace Knitting by Marianne Kinzel (New York: Dover Publishing, 1972). They were made in honor of a visit to my home of my friend, noted New Zealand author and teacher Margaret Stove. The room is my guest room, featuring Shaker samplers I stitched and Shaker-inspired beds I designed.
