Felted bags are fun to make and sturdy to use. They're great for using up odds and ends of yarn, and they leave lots of room for design experimentation.

The "before" picture below shows a bag before it was felted in the washing machine. The body of the bag measured 24 inches long and 34 inches around. The finished bag measures about 16 inches from the center of the bottom to the top edge of the bag, and about 24 inches around.
